Landing - New Trends on Tourism Communication will consolidate Madrid as the world capital of audiovisual tourism communication.

Landing is an annual event in which professionals from the audiovisual, tourism, marketing and advertising industries share their ideas and experiences.

It was held for the first time in 2019 in Madrid, during the week that FITUR takes place.

It is estimated that one out of every 5 tourists’ travels seduced by the audiovisual impacts received in the form of films, advertisements, documentaries or series.

According to a Google's Traveler Study report, 65% of travellers see films shot or inspired by the destination they want to visit, and 63% consume online videos to choose the activities they will carry out.

Taking advantage of the great platform that Fitur supposes, the city of Madrid is the ideal framework to project an event dedicated to the reflection on the tourist audiovisual and the best audiovisual and  digital practices in the communication of  destinations.

Landing - New Trends on Tourism Communication will consecrate during four days several activities focus on the challenges and new trends of communication and marketing of tourist destinations.

The event will combine the presentation of the most successful digital tourism communication campaigns and a competition (FITUR Travel Video Competition by Landing-Madrid) that will award in 5 categories the best National and International videos that promote a destination, product or service, of the Exhibitors and Co-exhibitors that will be part of the stands at FITUR.

Landing - New Trends on Tourism Communication is organized by Madrid City Hall jointly with CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) and Terres Travel & Landscape Communication.
